Dream a Little Dream – Teamwork

SEPTEMBER 2017

Teamwork

Teamwork makes the dream work – first time hearing this expression and I loved it! Teamwork really can make all the difference in the world – whether it’s having help lugging boxes and bags into the donation center or whether it’s excavating a basement or piles of paper in a room, teamwork really can make the dream work!

What is your dream in relation to your home or office?

Can you visualize what you wish the space looked and felt like when you entered the room?

What would it take to get it to look and feel that way?

Can you jot down a timeline with dates/times and tasks to declutter and downsize over the next few days or weeks? Or is just the thought of that too overwhelming?

Is it possible that you can attempt to let a friend or family member who has been offering to help you… actually help you?

Or, are you so embarrassed or overwhelmed that you need a professional?

Think about what it would take to get you started and take the first step.  Today really can be the start of teamwork making YOUR dream work!

Home Alive and Well!

So many of you emailed me with reassuring words and wishes when I mentioned our upcoming trip to Malaysia (and beyond) to visit our daughter. I wanted to share some pictures with you of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not only did I survive the trip, I actually LOVED the trip. Many of my fears evaporated as the journey began which resulted in a happy adventure for my husband, daughter and myself. No one is more surprised than me that I had such a great time.

And in case you were wondering, I packed very, very little clothing and used most of my little suitcase (and my husband’s suitcase) for emergency food–can you tell where my priorities are?
