Tips & Tricks, June 2014

Favorite quote of the month
“…..I no longer feel overwhelmed and depressed when I go into the basement.”
Excerpt from an email I received from a new client, Mary, after our first session.

A great big “WELCOME!” to all of our new subscribers this month. Thanks for joining us – it’s really great to have you with us.

You can be free of paper piles – today. Yes, really.

I have been having a great time speaking to various groups around the Baltimore area and hands down, the most popular issue is PAPER PILES. The most common struggles include:

  • Dealing with “to do’s” to better insure that they’re actually done.
  • Knowing what should be kept and what can be shredded.
  • Ensuring that bills are paid on time.
  • Dealing with all the articles and tips that are clipped to be read ‘later.’
  • Dealing with old papers from the past.
  • Handling Mail.

If this strikes a chord with you, perhaps you may be interested in the Aim 4 Order P.A.C. (Paper Action Center).

PAC Paper Action Center

This product was officially launched last week and so far, the response has been terrific. Included in the P.A.C. is a 45 minute seminar on “Paper Pile Prevention” along with other valuable handouts, all stored on an Aim 4 Order flash drive. For more information on the P.A.C., click here.

For my wonderful subscribers, I am offering a $10 discount (in honor of Aim 4 Order’s 10th anniversary in July). Please email me directly to purchase.
PS —if you are nearby, you can save on shipping costs, too!

a. Toss it
b. Donate it
c. Sell it
d. Gift it
Let the fun (and freedom) begin!

I met (and hugged) The Minimalists!

Yes, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus, otherwise known as The Minimalists, were at the Ivy Bookshop in Mt. Washington last month. As excited as I was to meet the guys, I was even MORE excited to see so many of my wonderful clients there. What a thoroughly enjoyable time.

One of my favorite lines of the evening was….”Love people, use things….not the other way around.” The Minimalists have a weekly email that is always short and poignant…I encourage you to sign up here.
