Getting Ready for Your Final Chapter

Talking about the ‘final chapter’ can be very awkward and uncomfortable for some people. Others are very interested in talking openly about what happens when they are no longer around. Some families even discuss what they want to be buried in, who will be getting what heirlooms and joke about calling junk removal companies immediately.

I have long been interested in the topic of death planning, dating back to my days at the National MS Society developing Planned Giving Programs for our supporters. In the 18+ years at Aim 4 Order, I see firsthand how many people struggle to have important documents organized and saved securely for themselves and their next of kin.

Now, it is my pleasure to announce that I’ll be conducting a virtual workshop via Zoom called “Organizing 4 Your Next of Kin.” This will be a 4 week interactive program where we will create an organized bundle of information so that you will feel secure that your vital information will be available and ready for eventual use in the very distant future. We will also touch on other topics related to getting your affairs in order. Part of me hopes that when everyone has their vital information organized, they won’t actually need it for a long while (similar to how we bought a generator for our home due to all the outages and now that we have a generator we NEVER lose electricity!).

Before I announce the date and time, I am hoping that you will respond if you are interested in participating. It will be priced affordably so that all who want to participate, can. Please email me if you are interested and if you have a preferred day/time for the classes. Classes will be recorded for those who can’t attend live (no pun intended!). I’m thinking this will be held mid year.

The Declutter Club is a cost effective way to deal with your ‘stuff’ in a fun and welcoming setting. The daily emails are short and sweet and the twice monthly Zoom calls are on Monday evenings at 7:30 pm for an hour.
